* The Walt Disney Co. is already talking of a sequel to PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN with sequel arrangements made with such key cast members as Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, as well as with the behind-the-scenes duo of producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski. The studio has also begun talks with writers Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio about writing the script.

While I haven't seen the movie yet, its success at the box office certainly warrants such a move. It's been back at #1 since Tuesday now.

i just saw Seabiscuit and bad boys 2. the biscuit was good and the boys we're good fun just like full throttle was fun. the biscuit is in only a few theaters round here so i think spy kids will be #1 there were so many kids at the cinema i mean like ALOT of kids there which was a small surprise cause spy kids 2 was so-so. the next robert rodriquez film 'once upon a time in mexico', the sequal to desperado, sort of anyways, looks to be really good from rodriquez, like really really good. just had to say that. oh yeah it has jack sparrow in it looking for banderas' character, i mean captain jack sparrow. okay just had to let that all out i love being OT

This is good news. They need to strike before Johnny Depp gets his gold teeth removed.

We saw Spykids 3-d today and also Pirates again. Spykids and Seabiscuit were selling out performances and our Pirates showing had a good 1/2 of the theater full even though it was still afternoon. And then there's the new Laura Kroft thing. So the weekend results should be interesting.

I am glad that Disney was able to get Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom , and Keira Knightly to sign back on for the sequel. It wouldn't be the same without them. I wonder if Bootstrap Bill will be in this?? Because you never truly find out if he dies or not...it just alludes to it. and the cursed pirates thought Jack was dead when they left him on the island...so there is a possibility that Bootstrap may be found alive in the sequel.. just a thought.
