So what did everyone do today? My husband and I went up to Tarpon Springs and poked around the sponge docks. Bought some goats milk soap, some pastries and stopped for a margarita.
He took me out to try to keep my mind off tomorrow. I have my 1 year follow up CT scan for that mass in my chest and the nodules in the lungs.

Teva- The sponge docks is a cool area in Tarpon Springs where, well, sponges come from. It's very Greek with some great restaurants and shops. Pretty touristy, but fun to go to.
Tarpon Springs less than an hour from where we are staying in Treasure Island on Wednesday. Maybe i'll have to take the kids there. I haven't been in years. Lots of fun! Thanks for posting the webpage!

We love going up there. If you make it, make sure to check out Lori's soap shop. She has the best soaps. You can get them with sponges 'built' in. Lots of great scents. She has both goats milk and olive oil soaps. I'm partial to the goats milk.
Also, stop in at Hellas bakery. There are 3 of them, but go to the main one. I think it's a block down from Lori's. Plus at the end of the street on the right near the little aquarium is a great spice shop. I highly recommend the espresso steak seasoning. Awesome stuff!
