PM-personal message. you can message someone without it being on the board for everyone to see. Click the persons name then view profile, you will find the link to send them a personal message

You'll know when you get a PM because you will get a pop up message when you log into the Dis.

I don't always get the little pop up box when a PM comes in... that could be from mashing buttons too fast... but in the upper right, there is a spot were it sez welcome, (your user name here) and below that you can see the number of PMs you have unread, and click on the Private Messages: link to goto the page to read them

you can't reply to a PM until you've got 10 posts (i've just discovered!!)

Not to worry I didn't know what that was for a long time!

Sometimes I still have to stop and think a few of them out like MVMCP or MNSSHP ~ that was a tough one for me!
