Hey, there's no such thing as imposing! Was your Juliet a princesss like Venus is? Venus looks innocent, but she's really walks around looking for trouble--I once started a thread about her antics, including her breaking off the keys from my daughter's laptop keyboard. That required a new $150 repair. I got her and her brother almost exactly a year ago when my oldest went to college. I can't get kittens every time I have a child go to college, however.

Frog, when you get your DD to clean her room, will you tell me how you did it? There are two very messy DD rooms here.

It usually takes threats and a big garbage bag to get my kids to clean up their room. My DD had all room to get her room cleared out before going back to college so we could get it painted and get new furniture, but she still didn't have time. She had time for Oprah and Dr Phil, though.

T&C, I have gotten to the point where I just shut the door and walk away -

best way so far was ,,,


early, like 7 am saturday morning.
go in with out knocking and grab the covers and head oiut the door
toss em into next room
go back, grab matress and jerk from underneath her and toss into next room
go back,, get hold of box springs,, give her the option to get up or get rolled off
aafter she hits the floor tell her your not returning the furniture till everyhting is clean.
start emptying dresser and other drawers into floor
take dresser out
take out tv
take out every hting from closet, pile in floor,
give her till 9 pm to have everyhting in there clean. organized, and back into closet
return dresser as soon as there is enough floor space clear
at 8 pm remind her anything left in floort at 9 goes into trash.
