Hello Everybody.

What's new and exciting besides violet smelling pee?

That's asparagus, violet. :thumbsup2 Have to have the asparagus first, then take a pill to get the violets. :rotfl:

Hey T&B, isn't there a Mongolian Barbeque place somewhere near DC? My BF birthday is today and Dsis and I are trying to come up with someplace differant to go.

Answered my own question. Did this really cool thing and put Mongolian Barbeque in the search thingy and found it. If I had half a brain I'd be dangerous. :rotfl:

I have date night tonight. Tomorrow annual adult party and DSIL, I hope I don't get tipsy and embarass myself yet again over Cantw8

We should change the word "pizza" in our thread name to "asparagus". It's catchy! :teeth:

Merle, did you find the one in downtown Bethesda? That's good!

Did you read my post I think yesterday that justhat had her baby (your question made me think of her since she wants us DC people to meet there sometime). She had him not too many days after our last meet.

I'm lost--what does cantw8 have to do with you embarrassing yourself?

LiteBrite, that sounds like a great day. That hand sounds creepy, though. Gives new meaning to his right hand man.

Yes I did, the really stupid thing is that I had already looked them up earlier this summer for a co-worker. :sad2: Dang I need a vacation. And I did see the thing about the baby, I have just been so frazzled this week that half the time I can't remember most of what I want to post by the time I get to the Reply to Thread page.

I saw the highlighted part and wondered "when the heck did litebrite post about hands" I didn't realize she had posted right before me. :rotfl:

PMS in a Handbasket--all are welcome if you bring stinky asparagus pee :rotfl:

I'm back from an exciting day...

Picture if you will, a four year, a two year, my ever so pretty princess self , and an eighty year Grandma in a Walmart. Did you know that it could take as much as three hours to pick out cotton balls and a few movies (Grandma decided on Stephen King's "IT" :lmao: ) at Wally World?

ANGEL- Date night? What is this foreign phrase that you speak?
Imsorry- The whole snack thing for soccer is crazy without veggies in the mix. When I played many moons and cordination skills ago, we had water and oranges. No more, now its fruit snacks or donuts and juice boxes- that just what I need five four year old little boys hyped on sugar when they have no idea which goal is ours to begin with.. I've already won the admiration of the kids, I bought apple slices and water :woohoo: .
Merle- Did you get the other half of my brain? The part that's great at proofreading and spelling is missing from mine.
T&B- Maybe the eye lady figures that the customers can't see that well anyways- might as well show off the tatas.
Steph- Have you got a chance to go to Disneyland lately? DH and I are thinking about making a trip in October.
disneymom- I wish I could give you some great advice on tags, but as you can see I'm able to give any useful information.
Teva- As long as the pee is not violet colored I think the toliets are safe.
Shug- Did you get to take Petey for a walk?
Crap, I missed LiteBrite again.

Hello all! I bought asparagus at the store today for dinner tomorrow night - gotta test Steph's theory out! :lmao:

I hope you get stinky pee!

I got a worrisome call from my sister. She was out of town for a week and while she was gone our mother called and left a message on her answering machine. Our mom sounded upset, but didn't say much. My sister called me to see what I knew, which wasn't anything. I'd talked to our mom just 6 days before and everything was fine (as fine as it is with an elderly person--she's 83yo). She didn't have any major issues at the time. I can't remember any tests that she was getting back, but who knows what I'm forgetting (damn medication I'm on--the short term memory problems drive me crazy at a time like this!). I know that she'd gotten some results back, which were fine. Anyway, my sister called her and the phone rang and rang--answering machine didn't pick up. It was working the last time I called. So now I'm worried, of course.

Tig, I hope your mom's okay. Is it too late to call her now?

Do any relatives live near her? Maybe someone could go check on her.

Nobody and I don't even have the phone number of any of her friends, which is really stupid. My sister says she doesn't, either. If we don't hear something by tomorrow we'll try to think of names.

If you don't hear from her tomorrow you can call her local police department and ask them to check on her. Our police do that. She might be a little ticked off at you for sending the cops to her house though.

T&B- I'm sorry that you're so worried about your Mom. I hope that everything is alright. Please keep me posted. You'll be in my thoughts :grouphug: .

Good Morning Sunshines :sunny:

Call the local police T&B :grouphug:

A little ticked off? teva, she'd kill us! :rotfl: I guess my sister didn't reach her last night, but who knows because I asked my sister to at least e-mail or IM me even if she didn't reach her, and I didn't hear anything. But my sister doesn't always remember things :rolleyes1 (at least I admit to memory problems...)so she probably just forgot or could be having computer issues since she just got back into town.

I'll try calling my mom again a little later. She lives in Oregon so it's too early there now.My mom would not think it's funny to be woken up this early, assuming things are ok. And she doesn't normally rush off anywhere in the morning.

Is it pretty in Oregon?

Beautiful, especially in the mountains and the coast. Here's the national park that I was working at just out of high school where my DH and I met. It was about 60miles from where I grew up.
