Okay, back now. Dad is not hot but he is really nice and turns out works with the same real estate company I used to be with. LIttle girl is very nice and actually now she and two of the kids who live next to her are in our yard now playing. One of whom is a 5 yo little boy who is just right for my boys' ages. All is well and DD was not abducted!

Shug, being exhausted explains your lack of smile, but it's still you in that picture--no escaping that. I know a nice face when I see it! I'm watching my weight--the second my balloons start to deflate I will lose no more weight. Shouldn't be an issue since I only want to lose a couple more pounds.

I have never had perky girls and decided I deserve them. I am going to really try to lose weight here in the next couple years and I'm sure they'll droop further. Problem right now in not letting work get in the way of it, I have a tendancy not to eat enough during the day then go home and eat to much. Then with going to the gym I tend to say "oh I have to much to do today I'll go tomorrow" and don't.

snowhite'smom--yep, she is! The two girls and little brother came over here after I went to meet the mom and dad (the other two live next door to this little girl she went to meet) DD and the one she went to meet hit it off right away and she seems like a very sweet girl. They were in the back for about half an hour and then came inside. yikes--6 kids can make a lot of noise. But I have always said I wanted to be the house where the kids came so that is fine with me!

Do they have many gated communities in NOVA? We don't have any around here. There's a big stink in our local paper today about a fence that was errected between our community and another one--well, really a neighborhood, that had a bad reputation with a high crime rate (I'm assuming that the other neighborhood used to be part of Montgomery Village, but then became low income housing). The criminals from the high crime neighborhood walk over to the nicer neighborhood and break in to houses and do other crimes, so the long fence was erected to stop the flow back and forth. Needless to say, people are upset. Maybe I should post that link as a new thread and get some opinions...
