The OP is deleted, but this person requested baby clothes be sent to her poor friend whose DH just left her, has 2 DDs and is pregnant with triplets. Then later someone exposes her as a scammer. I don't know if it really is a scam, but it looks suspicious.

Part of me hopes it's not a scam, but I have to think it is. I hate being so cynical about people, but I can't help it. Did you check out her past posts? She seems young to me.

I went out today to buy a cake for my MIL because we were going to celebrate her birthday tonight. I got home to a message saying that the grandkids are sick with fever and we're all getting together on Sunday instead. Sorry but there's no way I'm hanging out with sick people the day before I leave for vacation!

Oh come on, there's nothing better than a vacation full of viral illness. You guys are such party poopers .

It would be great if whoever sent her stuff in the exchanges would see how much of the stuff is being sold on eBay. Not that someone isn't free to sell whatever is sent to them, I suppose. If it's the eBay seller I'm thinking it is, there is a boatload if things that's being sold (but I could be wrong on who the seller is--I'm waiting for confirmation on that). The one outfit that I think she is selling is adorable. She was asking for people to send her (I think trade) refillable mugs--there was a new thread about it and this eBay seller has mugs that she is selling. Makes a person wonder.

The thread on the Families forum is still open, BTW.

I just got some pretty bad news.

A friend of mine was out swimming in the lake, and he forgot to take his wallet out. He had a HUGE stack of twenties in there. They all got ruined. He was planning on going to this wine/caviar tasting event later next month but he may be forced to use his Gold Card, and they'll kill him on the interest rate if he doesn't pay it off right away. If anyone can help out, I'm trying to raise some money for him. PM me. I don't take change, btw.
