Hmm. I'd have the ds tell the dh what he asked Santa for. Perhaps you could embellish a bit and say that he 'Looked up at Santa with tears in his eyes. I didn't even realize he wanted one so badly and now we don't have one and what are we going to do!':sad1:

Asking the question at the end like that leaves it open for him to 'fix'. Men dig that stuff.:cool2:

You are a freakin' genius.

No wonder they call you Da Bomb! You are awesome.

I'll have to try that tonight...right before he falls asleep;)

I was thinking DS would probably like a Wii too and DH might be more inclined to get one of those.

Can anyone help me locate one?

I like Bomb's advice....

Paige, you could always bring up your friend who's mother made her so nuts she made sure to move 1,500 miles away :rolleyes1

OK...nap time is over...gotta get back to work. :laundy:

If you went to Sams club then yuo were on the same main road that my neighborhood is off of :)

We've probably seen each other at Sams! It was 9ish years ago. Did you see any pregnant chicks at Sams that year?:rotfl2:

The Wii is a workout, according to my kids. Zach did the boxing game this morning and was exhausted. I think it's better for them because they are at least up and moving some. Not sure where to get it now. I sure wish I'd bought 2 of them when I bought ours. Ask MM about it since she got one more recently.

ARGH!!!

So talked to my mom. She is still pretty sick. Can't get off the couch. Stepdad got home in a car service/cab yesterday. :sad2: He is still tired and weak but is hungry. Of course they really don't have much of anything in the house to eat and need a grocery run. They are out of soup and bread for toast. But no one can go. And what they do have needs to be cooked and the only one that cooks is mom and she is too sick to cook.

I am so mad that my sister didn't go and help.

I am on my way out to pick up DH's prescription and get some KFC for the kids and I for dinner.

its like we share a brain ;)

Too bad your sister didn't go, Scrappy. Can a neighbor get a few things from the store for them? Or a friend? How about delivery for dinner tonight to at least get them through that? Are there grocery delivery services in their area? Any chance of your sister reconsidering?

Scrappy unless they live in the woods, scratch that, I do and can still do this, can't you order some food from a local store to deliver? Pm thier zip and I wil look while you are gone

aannndd now I am sharing a brain with you! :lmao:

:rotfl: I usually only use half a brain, anyway, so that works for me. Can you have a drink for me? :)

You got it!! Rebecca is sick, I am sick, its been a lazy quiet day of taking turns sleeping while the other looks for Paris and keeps CRAZY DOGS quiet. Now she escaped! I am starting to get a complex

Uh..I believe it's down to a third of a brain now peeps.

Scraps, I can't believe that your sister didn't go.
I agree with the grocery delivery.

Oh, and I'll need Angel to drink for me as well.

And who is Paris?

I have to weigh in tomorrow. It's been a bad bad week.:sad1:

Go up to Gamestop EVERY morning, around 9:45 and get in line. The UPS man gets there around 10:30 each morning. If you are there right before they open, you should be OK for getting one.

Scrappy, do your parents go to church??

Scrappy, will they eat pizza? Most of the places will deliver and will let you pay for it! Or like here, Giant Food delivers. Maybe there is something near there for them.

Like someone said, lets do a search and see what we come up with. I am sure you can get something there today!
