Yeah, Robin, she has something to say about absolutely everything. I feel like I have to defend everything. What I say, where things are, everything.
You don't have to let her say those things...cut her off, tell her that she's not welcome if she's going to talk to you that way and criticize like that. If you're asking for her opinion that's one thing, but if she's making you miserable on an ongoing basis it's something else entirely. Be strong.

Eat, Pray, Love

So so so good. :cloud9:
I have that book, but Alyssa borrowed it and I haven't read it yet. Glad to know that you liked it.

Scrappy, I think the frame sounds like a great idea!

I hope Kathryn feels ok Caro.

Had a good time at the Hanukkah party. Jake played lots of games and ended up with lots of prizes and Ben worked the party. And we ate latkes, so all is good. :thumbsup2

The animals are all over me today. I do think I was missed. Every time I sit down Belle gets on my lap and the others are nearby. :)

Well, while I was DISing DD7 came over and said that she and Daddy were watching TV together but he left to go to the bathroom and never came back. I assumed it was "just a guy thing" and told her to just be patient. She came back about 10 minutes later and said he was still not back. I told her to hang out with me. When 30 minutes had passed I got a bit concerned and went to check on him.

BAD WIFE OF THE YEAR AWARD! He was in the bathroom totally sick. He was having cramping so bad he couldn't get up off the floor and was in a pool of sweat and shaking uncontrolably. He had an extremely bad reaction to the antibiotic. I feel to awful that I didn't go and check on him sooner. He was in really bad shape. He keeps saying that it is okay, there was nothing I could do. But I could have at least brought him towels and water and held his hand if I had checked on him.

He is laying down again now. I called the dr and they are getting him a new antibiotic.

Jolly. Jolly. Jolly. I'm trying.

Geez. I have had more than my fair share of hugs for today. Jolly damn it!

Did I tell you all that so far the used toothbrush has STILL not be spoken for on freecycle? But the broken TV antenna and the non working Christmas Tree lights were! :rotfl:

And my 12 year old "slave" girl is in my face today to help in any way possible. Wanted to make my coffee and help with laundry. She wants to know what she she can make for dinner. She knows she screwed up big time yesterday! Amazing what an early bedtime and a come to Jesus meeting can do for you!

And do you all know that I would have gone INSANE by now with out this laptop and you all to keep me company as I sit here all these months with nothing much else to to do? Thanks for letting me ramble. I lllloooooovvvvveeee yoooooouuuuuuuu :grouphug:

Hello....

I am working on my housework, before I get to go back to work. Off to put laundry in dryer :laundy:

Poor Scrap's dh!!!!!

Lots of ice around today Angel. Our people in OKC and near Tulsa are iced in too.

So my parents adore my dh. My mom thinks he's fantastic. She says I'm lucky to have him since I don't do anything. I said "I don't do anything?" She said, "Well, I mean you don't have any talents." I said, "That was much better, thanks Mom."

My dad said to my mom, "That sounds familiar, it's like our house. You don't do anything, and I have all the talent."

I can't believe I grew up with these people.

Well, you're an extreme example that it's Nature and not Nurture!

Oh, and for what it's worth, I think being a teacher is a HUGE talent. BIG. LARGE. GINORMOUS.

Poor Scrappy's DH . I hope he feels better. I bet he will love the digital photo picture frame.

Bomb...how is your son? Is he feeling better?

So...now I found out DS asked Santa for an Xbox 360...or a jet pack. Boy is this kid going to be disappointed.

Well, heck. I've been to Tuscaloosa more times than I can remember and I sure wish we'd have known about this when we lived near there. Christmas sucked the first year, the second year we moved during Christmas (don't recommend).

It has been going on for 17 years. It must have started the year I got married . Too bad I didnt know you back when you lived close imagine the looks we could have gotten you the fashionista and me the fashion nightmare. :rotfl: Where did you live? Did you ever attend a CityFest? They dont have those anymore as they said they were not making enough money.
You know there is also the Christmas on the River down at Demopolis usually the first Saturday in Dec. Ive never been to that one.

Gosh did you all know I live excessively? I have just been told I have lost touch with the family motto: Use it up, wear it out, make it do, do without.

I have too many frivolous things. Things like multiple rolls of wrapping paper. One kind should do. Things like pets. Have I sat down and figured how much I spend on them a year? Things like conveniences. These dishwashers, ice makers, water on the fridge, and other such foolish things. They just aren't necessary.

I promise to shut up really! Oh who am I kidding? I'll never make it through if I don't whine. Just put up with it or don't read the thread until Wednesday. ;)

He is better thanks! He was not feeling well at all last night and slept on the couch all night. He did finally eat some cereal tonight, but it has been 24 hours since the last barf. Thanks for asking!!

Oh boy on the Santa thing. I'm sure he'll be happy with whateve he gets I'm sure!!

Well, we lived in Columbus MS. We just went to Tuscaloosa a lot...Sam's Club maybe?:confused3
Anyway, I was pregnant for the first 9 months we lived there, and then I had an infant for the next 8. Plus, we were much poorer. I was not so fashionable.:rolleyes1

Now, that's my kind of attitude....vent away my friend.:thumbsup2

Vent all you want, Paige. I'm sorry that they are so critical of you. That really stinks. My mom can drive me nuts sometimes, but it's nothing compared to what you're dealing with.

What would your mother think about all my animals? :rotfl: Nevermind that they are well taken care of and very loved. And of course there's wonderful benefits to us, too. BTW, don't take away my in-the-door ice and water.

How are you, Pixie?

Hi Ya Tig...wondering how I can convince DH to let me get an XBox 360 for DS...since all the gifts are already bought. Apparently he told Santa he wanted that or a jet pack.

Off to decorate the gingerbread house. See you all in a bit.

Paige, tell them about me. Make stuff up. Tell them I have a penchant for $700 shoes (I do, but I don't own any).:rolleyes1
Oh, and today while I was wrapping oodles of presents, I was upset that I only had 8 different rolls of paper to choose from because I like the mix of colors under the tree.

Hmm. I'd have the ds tell the dh what he asked Santa for. Perhaps you could embellish a bit and say that he 'Looked up at Santa with tears in his eyes. I didn't even realize he wanted one so badly and now we don't have one and what are we going to do!':sad1:

Asking the question at the end like that leaves it open for him to 'fix'. Men dig that stuff.:cool2:
