What's up with these new gold dollars? There was one given in change from the postal machine yesterday that had James Madison on it. Are they James Madison dollars or different Presidents or what?

Oh, I forgot to tell you guys that my poor sick husband knew I was upset and depressed about something yesterday. He came home from work dead tired and took one look at the kitchen and figured it out immediately.

He nearly collapsed from exhaustion but he worked his butt off to clean the kitchen, down to scrubbing the worst places on the floor on his hands and knees. It isn't perfect but I can at least walk in without things crunching under my foot or sticking to my crutches. And I can find a spot on the counter to prepare my lunch free of dirty dishes and rotting food.

I had to do something yesterday so I did vacuum the living room where I spend all my time and swept some of the dining room and kitchen. I need to do some laundry but I keep forgetting to throw a load in on my way to the bathroom.

I've been trying to text Tig, but it keeps saying it failed.

No, I don't think Ash's dh hates us, when I said he didn't like us, I meant exactly what Merle said.......that her talking to internet strangers makes him nervous I think.

Dadgum doctors want their money right when I'm shopping for Christmas. Guess they try to get the accounts in order at the end of the year. Don't blame them, but I've nearly paid it all now, it's just a couple hundred more, if they'd relax, I'll get to them in February.


And my mother was lecturing me because I said I was ordering something online. Online means credit card, and credit card means debt and debt means loser. Which would be my middle name.

Ah well, I made snowflakes and added with ones, tens and hundreds and read about the Pony Express and am watching Tom and Jerry's Nutcracker today!!!!!!! Jolly jolly!

So here is my other funny COULD HAVE BEEN BAD story for today. DH forwards me an email from work about the Department Christmas Dinner being held at a restaurant. But somehow the way it was sent it was actually "FROM" his boss. So when I hit reply it was set to go back to his BOSS!

And the reply I was going to send?

Well, who is paying? And will it be fun or boring? I don't want to go if we will just sit around and stare at everyone.

I am so glad that I figured out it was set to go back to his boss and not to him!!!!
