I have a small update on DH's grandmother: FIL said she's doing a little better and the Dr.'s are optimistic that she's going to be "ok". They've managed to get her pain to a manageable level and she's feeding herself again. She's probably going to go into a nursing home after rehab though - FIL doesn't want her in a home in NJ because they're expensive, so she'll probably either be in PA or GA with one of her other sons (FIL is a paraplegic and between working full time and taking care of himself, he really can't take care of her too). Hopefully she'll stay in NJ long enough for DH to see her when he comes home in December.
