Oh and really great news. DM is working Saturday night and leaves on Sunday for vacation. She'll be gone until Thursday and may leave again for that following weekend.

wd2 is listed at the ch as being there on the third by herself and then her dh flies in on Sunday. Did that change?

Well, had another meeting with Alana's school counselor today. She's going to talk to Alana and see if she can find out what's going on. Alana has basically shut down over school. She is failing 3 classes and also Advisory. She is not doing any work in class or homework. She participates in class, just doesn't do the work. Her counselor said that unfortunatly, Alana is smart enough that even though she is failing, she will still be moved on to HS next year. If she does that, she will be lost. Classes are bigger, teachers have less time to help, etc.
I can not force Alana to do her work, she has to want to succeed. I can not and will not sit by her to make sure she does her work, those days are over.I will ask her if she has homework and suggest that she starts doing it, but i can't do any more than that. She has already had most privliges taken away. It's up to her now.
