Being organized is a GOOD thing!

I re-use my trip ziplocs too.

I can't reuse mine because I used them for dirty diapers, dirty sippy cups etc... Now that the kids are potty trained and drinking out of real glasses I can reuse them.

How the hell do you get all that in a single zippy bag??? No way I can get my jeans in there and even my shorts have it bursting at the seams!

I just wanted to share my 10,000th post with everyone.



Now, I tried to think of a nice post to put. Something memorable.

Something with Monkey in it. But then there might be flying poo.

Something with panties mentioned. But then I would have to get a thong in there.

Something about reusing mugs, or pool hopping. But then I would probably get banned on my small milestone.

but that just makes me dizzy.



But, I decided to just say Thanks for putting up with me for this long!!!

Now I may take myself shopping to Celebrate.

The question is where?

Not Home Depot, since I work there, and that much orange makes me gag. (I wonder what the boss would say if I went to Lowe's?)

Target is a good choice.I love that place.

Best Buy is more for the guys, although I do stop in once in awhile.

Hallmark is just not in the budget, too expensive for my tastes.

I think I may stay home, and shop online!!

I use the 2 gallon size bags! And I don't put my jeans in, just shirt, shorts, unders and socks. I am only taking 2 pair of jeans and I may be wearing one of them on the plane.

Speaking of, packing lists, anyone got one?

I do...I have it on my computer. Before a trip I customize it for that trip and print.

I don't ziploc my clothes, I let them breathe free. But I also don't use the drawers and such. They stay in my suitcase until they go in the dirty clothes bag. Oh, I have to bring my own since I am staying over with you guys...............

The first thing I usually do when I get to the hotel is to unpack and get settled. I didn't used to, but I feel more organized that way.

I've used the ziplocks for my kids before, but not for myself. I mean for my kid's clothes, not actually for my kids.

evening everyone!
Made it through church pretty good, some tears. After church we planned te memorial service with the pastor and my moms good friens, Linda and Edith. Alana will probably do a reading and Kathryn is going to say the Lords Prayer. The service will be Tuesday at 12:30.
On the way home Andrew got a call from Linda that she had stopped by the funeral home to make sure my Moms body got there and IT WASN'T! The hospiatl had called the wrong one! They both have Shannon in their name and they had called the other one. I guess this isn't the first time it had happened. My sister, Edith and I all went to the funeral home and made all the arrangements for her cremation and everything. As with my Dad, I'm in charge of all the closing of accts, social security and everything thing else when someone dies. My sister just can't handle it. We are going to bury her ashes at the welsh cemetary in Delta PA, where her parents are buried. I will have the ashes at my house until we bury her. Overall, we are all doing pretty well.
I'm really looking forward to WDW later this week. Everyone has given me their blessing to go and I need it.

Over all, yes. I have my ups and downs, but I know that is going to happen for awhile.
