Caro, I totally understand the guilt. I haven't gone to see my mom since she started having her troubles. Thankfully she seems to have recovered, but here I go again planning 2 WDW trips without a concrete plan as to when I'm going to go visit her. Yep, I have the guilt big time. I also know that I NEED the fun trips to keep me in decent spirits.

I have problems with my mouth I couldnt see or feel. I knew I had two issues....but its more than than and I can tell you even with insurance its still going to be comparable to a week in a Deluxe with park hoppers and premium view for 5 people. PEAK SEASON !!

Oh gosh. Everyone is needing HUGE hugs today!!!!

Tiggy  for mom and guilt.

Caro  for mom and guilt.

Phors  for headache.

Teo  for the mouth.

Flurry  for that lunch.

funny thing is MY MOUTH DOESNT HURT !!
not to mention my oldest had her last baby teeth pulled on Monday....goes to orthodontist next week to get an expensive appliance put in just to get her mouth ready for the more expensive braces !
can we say ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh in my whiney screamy im going to lose it voice.

Ok rant over...im just really down and dont know how i am going to swing everything plus the trip we promised the kids to WDW for spring break.

Teo, we didn't do the orthodontist for Thing 1 for the prebraces thing. We did some searching on it and found that it didn't seem to matter much whether you did that or not, except of course in the length of time and cost. Kids who started earlier finished earlier, but on average were in them longer and had higher costs than those who got braces later.

Boy does my mom push us to start Thing 1 too! I just keep saying not quite yet. He's only 12. My brother started at 14.

she will be 16 in feb.....was slow dentally...not mentally LOL
she has had 6 baby teeth that were not going to come out so they have pulled them. She will get an appliance because without it her teeth from the back will shift and then she is going to be a mess well more than a mess than she is now. This is going to open up space and make sure those permanent teeth move down and have room to move down. So in this case its a have to. The permanent teeth will not come down on their own if we dont keep them some space maintained. The only good news is these teeth are now moving and they are not impacted which would have meant surgery in a hospital to cut through her palate to get to those teeth.

Did that make sense?

IM, whats wrong? If I was there Id give ya huge bear hug and squeeze so hard you'd prolly pee your pants !! :)

Did I mention she only has the 4 teeth in the front and her molars in the back on the top?

i could use a hug today :guilty:
 for you too.

Yes. I thought mine was slow. His first tooth came at 9 1/2 months. He didn't lose his first baby tooth until second grade. He just this summer lost his first molars and his last baby bicuspids.

she was 20 months old before she had any teeth at all hehe
