i finally got a chance to sit down with store manager yesterday aftrenoon.

as of 3:30 yesterday i a m officially no longer a lowes customer service asssociate.



i am now a lowes plumbing sales specialist.


and am no longer seasonal


am now full time employee.


with full benefits, etc.




and




and



and best of all.




i got my raise's


yup plural.


totaled up to $1.52 cents an hour raise.



finally.



and he is already asking me if i am interested in moving into higher management levels.

Are you a proper British nanny? My husband wants to hire a proper British nanny...I told him that if she takes care of all of the trips to Home Depot and goes bowling with him, he's got a deal.

I thought those were French Maids and not British Nanny's

as i read this,, the phone rang.


but it was dad instead, telling me what all happened with the no electricity and we had a fire comments on msn last night... apparently my former uncle did some shady wiring w hen he combined his house and trailer into one living area and the wiring shorted out and burned in two and caught part of the underpinning on the trailer on fire. now little brother will be with out a kitchen/laundry / and one bedroom for the next three weeks waiting on a repair man to get there to finish rewiring the trailer part so it will besafe. hey are running fridge /freezer off of heavy extention cords till then.

A quick hello! I am sooooo sleepy that I feel sick. Had a date with DH last night. We tried out a new restaurant, Frankie Bones. DH had Pork Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and I had Chicken Rigatoni. Both had caesar salads and I had Creme Brulee for dessert. They put chocolate chips in the bottom. YUMMY!
Then we went to the B-52s concert at the Biltmore Estate. It was soooo much fun! I think all of the outside time got to my allergies though. I woke up at 5:00 with breathing problems and have had to take my inhaler twice. Still can't catch my breath real well. I just really need to sleep.
So my plans for today are to sleep when DS sleeps.

Hobby Lobby would be a really fun job! My tip - listen to every single thing you're told. If you're not clear on something, don't be afraid to ask. Oh, and smile a lot. It makes a really good impression!
