I was just checking Northwest to see if I could use my miles.
I can, but the dates are not as great as I'd hoped. I wouldn't get in until LATE on the 2nd. I probably don't have much of a choice on this one though. Gotta go with 'free' on the cost.

Hey all! Popping in to say hi. DH is leaving in 2 days for Houston, then it's on to Iraq. I still don't think it's hit me. I'm off from work on Monday so I can drive him to the airport. Hopefully I won't spend the whole day in a blubbering mess. Tomorrow is the barbecue with the family - my dreaded MIL is coming (oh joy). She has bronchitis so I hope to God that DH doesn't catch it (or myself, quite frankly).

That's about it for me that's "new". I'll try and go back a few pages to see what's going on around here. Talk to you all soon!

Don't know if you ever looked up Charm City Cakes or not. I looked today, starting price is $500.00. But they have some awesome looking cakes on there and the have some pretty tasty sounding flavors.

I had thought that if they weren't too expensive I would see what it would cost to have a princess castle made for DN 4th birthday. She and I were watching the Food Tv Cake Challenge where they had to make castles and she asked me to make one for her birthday. Guess I'll be getting out the cake pans.

Well, just about everything I own is sitting on a big truck some where. We left Maine yesterday and will be getting into Alexandria sometime today. The boys and I spent the night at my MIL's in CT. I am so excited now that this move is in full swing. I promise to be around more when we get settled. Miss you guys!

Yeah they are really cool! They even had a Harry Potter cake, it was a Quiditch field.

Talked to Tig about an hour ago. They have been hitting a ton of traffic. Left this morning at 7:10 and it was almost 5:00 when I talked to her. She figured they had about 1/2 hour more to go and Paige was about another 1/2 hour behind them. So far they'd stopped to go potty, get gas, eat at Waffle House (her first experience) and at a Welcome Center. They were driving in Horry county, which Tig thought was funny! Nobody had killed each other yet! While we were talking she some a bumper sticker about licking a dick. They were going to all go look at melons! (Jake included!) I guess she starts them young!
I'm sure we will get a report later. I also need to get her the list of who will accept text messages.
