There are some perks...you can expel gas in public areas and people laugh, you don't have to sit on yucky toilet seats to pee, you can play dumb when people ask you to do housework....

Not to mention that whole giving birth thing.

My DH just called. Said he called to say he loved me.
Also asked if I've given more thought to our planned trip in November (I was hesitant about the dates). He then told me.......are you sitting down........he's ready to go back! He has caught the bug. I never thought I would hear him utter those words.

Of course, I'm ready to go now.....not wait until November!

My trip was pretty good - lots of work, got to hang with hubby's family a bit, which was nice, got to see an old college friend, also nice. I'm glad to be home, though. Plus, look what my ticker says now!

Hello! What do you have on the books for today.

I was GOING to go to Costco with DH since it was his idea, however we have two contractor kind of people coming today to do estimates on the wood rot all around our outside windows. Not a cheap thing to have done, but it needs it. And then our A/C stopped working so we need someone out for that. UGH! I wonder why my head is hurting.

Well, I guess I should get dressed, since I'm sitting here in my jammies. I have to run pick up DH's tennis racket from the guy who strings it for him. Normally he does it, but he asked nicely, so I said I would pick it up. Then take Kelly to the gym at 12:30, pick up Katherine's friend to come over to play, go home, put Paddy down for his nap and put primer on the new doors and trim in the basement. Other than that, just sit around and be lazy.

Funny thing is, other than the priming, the rest will take me less than one hour. I wish I didn't have to prime, but since DH did all of the major work, I guess I should attempt to help.
