I'll hold your hand if she isn't there. I know, not the same, but after a couple Xanax, you won't know the difference. And I will be there a day early. My current plan is to leave Monday mid-day and meet Bonnie for lunch around Potomac Mills, assuming that works out. And then when she heads back to work, I'll finish the drive down.

Well, your much shorter and nowhere near as soft spoken but I guess you'll do in a pinch. If you want I can come down and have dinner with you. Paige said she won't be in until real late Monday.

Paige loves us and knows that this is what we do to show how excited we are to see each other, however, this is out of her comfort zone and I will follow her lead. Seriously, I know that none of us would ever want to make any of the rest of us uncomfortable. And we all do have different experiences that we are bringing into this. But she also knows that I would have a really hard time not hugging her and she's been warned.

That's gonna be really hard. I just forget not everyone is a hugger. I don't even think about it, I just do it. Somebody remind me if I start to touch her.

I should clue you all in on what I'll do under varying amounts of alcohol... I think I'll squeeze a butt after only one drink and it might not even take that one drink.

That social phobia of mine? Couple of drinks fixes that right up. That dirty mouth of mine? Couple of drinks makes that 10x worse. Oh, and I'm a klutzy drunk too

I will come up for dinner on Monday--I will actually have more time on Monday. I can hang out until 2:30 if anyone is around that early and then will be free again around 5:30 when DH comes home.

And based on his attitude tonight, I may be going to Bunco on Wed night also! I told them probably not, but now. . .

I probably should see if I can just find a sitter for Tuesday but I really don't have anyone I use right now.

Before meeting you, I knew that you were a hugger, but I didn't even think to ask about LTS and ML. I just went in for the hug and waited for them to deck me. Didn't happen, at least. And with the Saturday lunch I didn't worry about whether or not Bonnie and Merle were huggers--didn't remember--and I didn't want Merle's sister to be left out. And to think I didn't used to be a hugger.

After leaving me alone with the kids 2 weekends in a row and rolling his eyes when I said I was going out 2 nights (keep in mind my kids are in bed by 7:30 and he is the one that usually puts them to bed so it is not like it is a huge inconvenience) you bet he is in the dog house!!!

I came home from errands only to have my garage remote not work...power was out, I guess due to the high wind we were having. The funny thing is right before leaving I thought about the fact that we could lose power and if we did, I wouldn't be home and the boys don't have keys to get in. My DH works at home, though, so not a big deal as long as he's paying attention from the basement where he works. We decided to go out to dinner, but right before leaving Jake complained about being cold...of course he has a fever. By then the power had come back on. My DH is picking up Chinese food as a compromise.

Let's talk about power problems. I turn over this morning, look at the clock, blink, blink, blink, Look at my cell phone and it's 8:37 and I have to be at work at 8:30.

day 12 depart for home
6 sigthseeing tours in venice, florence, assisi, pompei vatican city and rome
visits to doges palace, glass blowing demonstration Duomo, leather workshop, assisi basilica rome ruins at pompei, sistine chapel st peters basilica and some colosseum.
Its being booked throuh an organization called EF educational tours and she also gets credit for school.
If she wins the drawing and gets to go for free, I am going
