I was nagging Tig about calling her doctor. She called me out on it since I don't ever call mine either. Told me it was like the pot calling the kettle black. She's right but I'm only admitting that 'cause she's not here.

Did you tell Shug when your last appt was?

The Pinocchio tag is the coolest tag ever but you know who it would be even more appropriate for?

I thought of that when I first saw the tag, too, esp since that's what my DH calls her.

Thanks Teva. I hate being all whiny. My DH is at a Ranger game or I'd have him stay here and at least get out of the house. Libby is being a real trooper. Of course, I'm giving her pretty much anything she wants just to keep her happy and quiet . It's going to be ugly next week when I say no to ice pops for breakfast .

Oh, last night my DH asked me why I was spending only one night down in Williamsburg and told me I should go the night before so I didn't have to deal with driving down Tuesday morning, timing rush hour, etc. Actually have an extra day to myself to relax??? WTH? Of course I acted like I wasn't jumping at that idea, but why not? To say that I need a break might be a little bit of an understatement...

Merle is awesome too! What a really nice lady, with good skin! She was a little quieter than the rest of us motor-mouths, but she is a lot of fun.

Jeanette (sp) was really groovy too. Really nice! We all chatted up a storm.

Ahem.....I shall only say this once. No lectures. The reason ovarian cancer is so common and has such a high mortality rate in peri and post menopausal women is because they put off regular gyno visits because they are not of childbearing age anymore. It's so aggressive, by the time it's diagnosed, for way too many women, there's nothing they can do. GET YOUR DAMN PAP.
