Mornin' Everyone

I need hugs. It's day 3 of being home with a sick child . She's much better - no fever and eating pretty well. That's great for her but bad for me. It means she won't be content with just laying on the couch dozing on and off .

Is it too early to start drinking ?

Good morning and happy snow day to those who have snow. Glad it's not me. I am so ready for spring and our springs are beautiful here, but I have to wait about another month for that. I may last.

I'm supposed to go help out at the cat shelter this morning, but I didn't hear back from the person as to what time. I could just go let myself in since I have a key to the place, but I have visions of a security alarm going off and that would be a bad first day experience, so will hold off until I'm sure someone is there.

Bonnie and Merle, we still need a where and when for tomorrow...I'm flexible as long as the restaurant has something vegetarian. I'm not overly picky as long as I'm not expected to eat portobello mushrooms or broccoli and like pretty much any cuisine and I haven't had much of an appetite, anyway. I meant to have looked at a mall restaurant guide, but of course I keep forgetting. We had a meet once in that area, but I don't remember where we ate.

I remember that - DD was always the world's sweetest child when she was really sick, but as soon as she started on the road to recovery but wasn't all the way better yet, watch out! Miss GrumpypantsPlayWithMe would rule the roost for a day or two.

Hang in there, Baby. In a day or two things will get back to normal.

Funny thread!

It's a funny thread, but I wonder about the common sense in that household. Why didn't they just shut off the circuit that the oven was on? That would have stopped the cleaning process and unlock the oven. Maybe I am too practical. Plus my oven doesn't have the lock. I have to press a few buttons to make it clean. I don't want to post on the thread though cuz then I would be a mellon-baller. And yes PYREX is scary, I use it very carefully.

ETA do this quickly please. I'll be in Williamsburg with ML and Obi this Sunday in that very area. It'll give me a chance to find a good place close by for dinner but remember, this hotel has a bar!
