Plz Tell Us About Clearwater Beach Pier 60

Last year we did Daytona. absolutly loved it!

We are thinking of checking out Clearwater Beach this year.


We paid $5.00 to park and $20.00 for a small table with an umbrella.

Not to mention $5.00 an hour for boogie boards for the kids.
(this year I bought them at marcs for all 5 kids for 4 bucks each! They are going to make great X-Mas gifts!) I hope the weather is good!

Will they have tables with umbrellas at Clearwater Beach? If so about how much are they?

Will there be a shady spot close by?

Do they have showers?


Any other info is appreciated!

We were just at Clearwater Beach and didn't see any umbrellas except for those that people brought themselves. We didn't go up by the pier so I can't speak for that. We also went to Ft. DeSoto which was America's #1 Beach in 2004 (I think). It was beautiful !! The water was 87 degrees !! It was FABULOUS !! The best part of our trip!

Clearwater Beach is beautiful but it is sometimes hard to park. They have meters in the parking lots. They do give parking tickets! Pier 60 is fun, they have entertainment every evening, jugglers etc and lots of shopping, again usually just in the evening. There is a fun restaurant call Peachy's Rockaway Grill, north of the Hilton. The water is like a bathtub this time of year.

We are going in December this year. My family decided June was way to hot for them. Im afraid December will not be warm enough. Well keep our fingers crossed. At least the parks will be all decked out!
