Plus size & Crocs

I love my crocs, besides one pair of Nikes that I have, they are they only thing that I wear that my feet (and legs) don't hurt when we get home....

P.S. I lived in Hatfield/Lansdale area most of my life... right down 309 from you!

Yes...and they are great! Buy the Beach style as they run two sizes...this takes care of any issues with wide feet rubbing/blisters.

I have to disagree with the absolute comment of "buy Beach style". If you can POSSIBLY get to a local retailer, try both the Beach and Cayman. I'm a size 8 1/2. The Beach 7-8 was too small and the 9-10 was massive. The Cayman 9 was perfect. What works for one person does not always work for the next - PLEASE try them on before buying. The Beach style may be perfect for you - or it may not.

I haven't made it to WDW yet since I got my Crocs, but I have worn them every day - including yucky mall shopping (I'm probably the only woman who hates shopping! LOL) and my feet feel great! I also have issues with plantar fasciatis (basically tendonitis in the foot) and it has not been a problem with Crocs. :thumbsup2

My favorite thing about Crocs...My toes have room!
There are plenty of soft comfy shoes out there, but only Crocs and Birkenstocks really give your toes the room they are supposed to have. (If there are others, I'm not aware of them)

Wore them for two weeks at wdw last fall - feet didn't hurt at all.

With other shoes, my feet & legs hurt after a full day of shopping at the mall.

Same here. Just came back and wore mine almost the whole time. Wore tennis shoes for the first 2 and then started to get a blister so I changed. Legs and feet were great. Never felt better.

Love them.. My legs hurt but only because my daughters shoes were bothering her so I switched off with her and wore her shoes for some of the days.. Big mistake!!.. We will all have Crocs the next time we go.. I was coming home last night and a lady stopped me at the Orlando airport to ask me about them.. she said they have a Croc store in the airport and she sees everyone with them and wanted to ask before she bought a pair.. Best money I ever spent..

I completely agree with TravelinGal. I'm definitely "Pooh-sized" and I like my crocs, and I have wide feet, too. Plenty of room in the toe box, and I enjoy the Beach style. However, I also have plantar fasciitis, and because of a high arch, my podiatrist has told me not to wear them anymore. They do have arch support, but apparently not enough for me. :sad2: So I guess I'm seconding the "try them on before you buy them"!

I know that Crocs has a version to help with plantar fasciitis, but they're only available to doctors and patients, and I don't know anything about their arch support. My podiatrist hadn't heard of them.

I bought mine before our trip last summer, and wore them every day, even though I took several pairs of shoes! Usually, I have to trade between 2 pairs of tennis shoes and my sandals, to keep from having sore feet, but I didn't have that problem with the Crocs.

I have foot issues, too - bone spurs and pinned ankle, swelling, etc. I don't wear my Crocs every day, I have tennis shoes with arch supports for that. But, wearing them for walking in the parks for a week was fantastic - no heel pain, pain in the ball of the foot, or blisters!! I will definitely be taking them again this summer. :goodvibes

I had to wear mine with socks. My feet are wide and they rub up against that little Crocs logo that is on the sides of the shoes. With socks they are great. Without they were torture and I got horrible blisters.

I'm definately plus sized and wear Crocs and Birks exclusively. My grandkids think I'm cool because I wear them in the winter, with socks, and in the summer, without. They are truly the way to go at WDW. When necessary to dress up, I cringe at the thought of stockings and shoes. My feet have spread, over the years, from wearing Birks, but I'm never uncomfortable unless I have high heels on.

I too am Plus Size and I got a pair for our trip in January. I was skeptical so I didn't wear them the first day in the parks...BIG MISTAKE!! I got a huge blister with my tennis shoes. I wore nothing but my Crocs for the rest of the trip and I never got another blister. I wish I had just started out wearing them.
