We will be doing a 4-day Disney cruise in early december, followed by 3 nights in Orlando. We are planning to do MVMCP the first night and then Sea World the next two days. Please help me find a good hotel for us.

It will be me, DH, DD (turning 4 in December), and DS (will have just turned 1 in November). I for sure need a place that offers a crib for DS.

I am thinking of looking for somewhere that has an indoor pool, just in case it happens to be a cold December. My DD will be disappointed if she doesn't get to swim on the cruise, so I'm kindof thinking of that as a backup. Do they even have indoor pools in FL?

I'm thinking my preffered location would be near the SeaWorld area. We plan on doing those days very leisurely.

Right now I'm budgeting 100/night, although I'm hoping to find something better since it is value season. I would consider slightly higher if it is really nice and worth it.

Anyone have anywhere they would recommend?

Thanks in advance!!!

embassy suites has an indoor/outdoor pool.

Marriott world center has an indoor pool.

The indoor pool is probably what will get you. They are very limited in the Orlando area. Aside from the ones already quoted, I don't honestly know of any others off the top of my head. Just not sure if these will fall in your budget though.

Do you guys think the weather will be warm enough to swim outside in early December?

In december, my guess the air temperature will be in the 60's. if there is lots of direct sun, it will make it seem warmer. might have some lucky days and be in the low 70's too or have unlucky days in be in the 50's. really hard to say as it changes all the time. pretty much most pools at hotels & resorts in Orlando are heated. Disney pools are always heated. even their water parks are heated year round (typhoon lagoon seems to be warmest though)

on my first trip to WDW in Dec (92) - I was surprised to see how many people had on shorts.... the temperature was in the 60's..... but by lunch it was necessary for us to go back to the room and change - the high was in the 80's....

another trip the low was in the 30's high in the 40's - (but that only happened once)

mostly the high was somewhere between 65 and 80 - the lows are generally 50 to 65....

so yes you can go swimming outside in Orlando in dec - but it is by no means guaranteed....

oh at some of the timeshares there will at least one pool heated. so not all their pools are heated - and this will make that one pool very, very busy.

Disney heats all their pool all the time.
