I keep hearing different things about EMH on Easter week. First I heard that it totally worth using your EMH at MK on Easter week, then I hear....No, stay away from EMH on that week and go the day after. I'm trying to get my intinerary together, and my MK day is Thursday (for EMH) So, what do I do? Also, is it worth doing MK on Easter Sunday (EMH day) until about 11:00, or not? Thank you for your help;)

Crowd level is all relative. People say that Easter is jammed, totally out of control. We were there 2003, we went to mass at the Contemporary went to breakfast right after at concorse steakhouse (no PS) and then went over to the magice kingdom for the afternoon. I don't remember the cowds being overwhelming at all. In fact I do remember saying I thought it would be WAY more crowded. I would go again at Easter in a second.

I enjoyed Easter Week 2000. It was crowded, but managable for us.

I think the best way to find out if EMH is worth getting into is taking a monorail ride over and checking out the crowds for yourself. I think crowd size is all relative. Some people might find it managable, some might not.

I know that on Easter Sunday we rode the monorail over to MK and decided not to get off because it look really really mobbed over by the entries and the park was open at the time. So we continued on to TTC and went to Epcot on Easter Sunday instead.

I wouldn't hesitate to go Easter Week again . . .we had great weather and our trip was very magical.

ltlpixie,

My family and I did MK on Easter Sunday last year and I would do it again in a hearbeat. We got there about 20 minutes before the EMH opening so we were at the front of the line. There were 2 families so 2 sets of parents, DS 15, DS 8, and DD 9. The Mom's and kids headed straight to Fantasyland while the Dad's took a detour and got FP's for Buzz Lightyear. They then met us in Fantasyland as we were getting off the Carousel. We did every ride in Fantasyland with no wait. We then went to the rope between Fantasyland and Frontierland and as soon as that opened we headed to the Mountains. We rode Splash Mountain with no wait and then Thunder Mountain with a 10 minute wait and then rode it again with about a 15 minute wait. We then moved on to Adventureland where we rode Pirates and Jungle Cruise with no waits. It was around 10:30 by then and our FP for Buzz was starting around then. We stopped at the Main St. bakery and had a delicious snack and then rode Buzz.

After Buzz it was around 11:30 and the park was very crowded. We left and went to the Boardwalk and walked around and then went to Typhoon Lagoon for a couple of hours. We actually went back to MK in the evening but just to have Easter dinner with our friends at LTT. I think Easter at MK is great as long as you stay ahead of the crowd.
