pls. dining plan? pls explain it to me like i am 3 yrs. old..

100 days away,dvc 'r so now that i can add it,i'm totally confused,
1.i've already made all my ps's and now pls don't tell me i have to call and tell them i'm on the plan..do we have to eat 1cs and 1 dinner everyday
2) can we just go to beaches and cream and everything is covered or will they say "you can only have......"
3) i thought char buffets dining was 2 credits? how about fantasmic hollywood and vine?
4) dh little picky if it's too difficult to work he won't like it
5)does the bottomless milkshake at wcc count as beverage
i only have about a million of these nagging questions pls tell me the cm are helpfull..

With the plan, you can only have one table service, one counter service, and one snack each day. If you choose character dining, it only uses one of your table service credits. If you choose a dinner show or signature dining, it will use two of your table service credits.

I'm not sure about your other questions.

OK, I thinkI have it...

You get a TS, CS and a snack each day, but you can eat them when you want, so eat all your TS today if you want. Think of it as a bad full of meals, oull then out when/where/how you want.

Fantasmic H&V is one TS.

You do not have to call and tell each place you are on the plan. Just let them know when you order and give them the DP card to pay.

When we used the DP, some restaurants had limits on what you could get. I found that life was much easier for me and my server if I let them know that I was on the dining plan and needed information as soon as they came over to ask about drinks. That let me ask about any restrictions on what we could choose so I could consider that before I made up my mind and ordered. I will say that most places we ate had no restrictions, or none that really mattered.

Someone posted that Cinderella's character meal (not sure if all 3 meals or just breakfast) was changing to a 2-credit meal, but all other character meals would remain 1-credit meals. Shows and signature dining are 2 credits.

On DH being picky..... IMHO, you've done the hardest bit by making your PS's already. Once the server explains your options, it's all easy. Order, eat, pay. Tips and taxes are included, so no worries at all unless you want to leave extra tip.

I have no idea about the bottomless milkshake. Sorry.

Your credits are equal to 1 TS, 1 CS, and 1 snack per nights of your stay, per person.
So if you have reservations for 6 nights, for 4 people, you will get 24 TS, 24 CS, and 24 snacks for your stay. You may use as many per day as you like (for example we did 2 character meals in one day.) The credits are good upon check in and until midnight the day you check out, so in my above example, you would technicaly have 7 days to use your credits.
