I have 2 DS's 12 and 15. Very mature, have seen drinking before and would not be harmed imho to see it again, is PI a place for us to go? I know they would love the Comedy Warehouse and maybe Adventure Club (although I know much less about it) My thought is to go early see the first show at CW and leave, but is this a waste of a perk?

I asked on the teen board and they had no good things to say about taking my DSs, but when I talked to my DSs about it they really want to try it. I am very torn and don't want to waste time or perks, but hate to miss the CW with them.

I would love any and all comments. (Got my Flame suit on:cool1: )

We took my 2 DS's to Comedy Warehouse last year at ages 8 & 11. We'd taken them to Adventurer's Club on trips for about a year before that, but just to the "free preview" from 7-9. When we took them to Comedy Warehouse, we just went to the first 2 shows of the evening, which are never anywhere close to being full in my experience, and also are much "tamer" than the later shows. I'm thinking we were leaving around 9:30 after the 2nd show, and that's when most of the partying crowds are just arriving. DH & I had Pleasure Island AP's and got half-price admission for the boys with my DDE card, and I felt it was worth the money for the 2 CW shows we saw. If you're using a plus option (or a water parks & more, I think it's called now), I think it would be worth it.

Thank you so much for your help! Glad to hear it!

I don't know how well your sons handle "adult humor" but the AC tends to have a lot of adult jokes. They may not get them depending on how mature they are. Personally, I would probably take a mature 15 year old but I question a 12 year old.

Can't comment on the comedy club because I've never been. Sorry.

In a way, that might be why I felt comfortable taking my 8 & 11 year olds - because they would not get the adult humor. I might feel more uncomfortable when they're a few years older and would get it. Can't say since they're not there yet! And I will say that in my opinion the adult humor is really pretty innocent early on in the evening, and I can't recall anything that made me feel uncomfortable.

Comedy Warehouse opens all (or most) shows with a sort of disclaimer to audience members to remember "they're at Disney and that there are certain phrases & concepts that cease to exist". Or something like that anyway - LOL! If they're given an inappropriate suggestion from the audience, they're very good at ignoring it and even sometimes making fun of the person who made it.

I been to both CW and AC multiple times...If it was me I might bring them to the first 2 showings of CW. The performers ask the audience for suggestions and they remind everyone to keep it PG. I wouldn't sit at the tables right in front of the stage but in any of the row of chairs/counters (CM's direct you to a seat). Depending on how the shows go they might love it or be bored. But they probably would like the overall experience of going to PI.
I however would not bring them to AC. Again all the language from the performers is PG but they can't control what others say because it's a very interactive experience with the guests. Lots of sexual induendo (sp?) I personally never feel comfortable when there are kids in there. It's very much a bar. But that's just me...when I was that age I would have been embrassed. The main bar area is open and some of the interaction takes place there...your kids could get a good sense of whether they like it or not. If no, you leave, if yes then you can all go into a room for one of the shows.
Do a google search for AC...someone did a really good fan website.
