I would like to know if Pleasure Island is okay to take 3 teenagers to-16, 15, 13? I see that they have to be admitted with adults. We have plus passes and wasn't sure if it was appropriate for them or not??? Thanks!!!

Yep! Feel free and have a great time! I think there are only 1 or 2 clubs they won't be admitted to, but other than that, you all are good to go.

It's completely appropriate. I've only been once but I remember there were people there with really young kids... some only 4 or 5 years old. I definate must-do is the Adventurers Club. You and your kids both will enjoy it.

They just cannot get into Mannequins or Motion ANY night, or BET on Fri & Sat. Otherwise they just need to be with you!

Thanks for the info. We have 5 extra days and are trying to figure out how to use them. We are not huge water park people, but may try. We will be there Sunday!!! Yipee!!! :cool1:

Please just keep in mind that PI is essentially a big bar/nightclub. People will be drinking. People will be trying to hook-up. There may be intense PDAs going on. People will be drinking more and some will become intoxicated.

I always recommend that if you must bring your kids to PI, please do so early in the evening and head home by 11pm. Also, how old are your tickets? Could you use the plus options for Disney Quest instead? I have a feeling your teens would much prefer Disney Quest to PI anyway.

definitely do the Adventurer's Club! Your kids will LOVE it, and it's a very "safe" atmosphere for teens to be in with an adult because there is a lot of non-stop, planned (and un-planned!) entertainment. IMHO the best choice at the island for ANY age!

:thumbsup2 Agreed! This is definitely something you don't want to miss!!

My cousins and I went to Pleasure Island when we were teenagers. I was 14 or 15 and my cousins were between the ages of 14 - 17. WE had a blast!!!! I am 30 now and I still remember our night there. It is always new years eve at Pleasure Island!!!

Our tickets are only from last year. We purchased 7 day park hopper passes with 5 extra options. We only used 2 days last year and will be staying for 2 weeks this year. We definitely plan on doing Quest, but have never been to downtown and wasn't sure about Pleasure Island because of the restrictions for kids. Is this strictly an evening events place? I wish I had more time to do more research on this!!! Thanks for everyone's responses. :sunny:

Yes, Pleasure Island is an evening entertainment place. Right now it's also pretty torn up due to construction. There used to be a large stage where there would be some nightly entertainment without going into any of the clubs, but they have taken that out. So the only entertainment is in the clubs. I personally don't care to see kids in the Adventurer's Club, where we frequent, they might hear some things you don't want them to. But the earlier you go the better it will be. Later in the evening it can get pretty "colorful." :joker: Which is the way I like it. :thumbsup2

Er not anymore since they did away with all of the entertainment and fireworks and tore down both the stages. Right now it's a big construction site with a few clubs a pub and a Harley Davidson store.

You should buy a one club ticket and go with them to the Adventurer's Club...then eat at Raglan Road and do something else...like the Boardwalk...MAAAYBE the Comedy Warehouse. Other than that Pleasure Island is pathetic now.

Add one to the list that thinks the Adventurer's Club may get too 'adventurous' for them. The humor can get rather adult quickly at times, but you could try your luck!

Kungaloosh!

That shows how long its been since I've gone there :hourglass

Oh well, maybe it will get better when the construction is over? :wizard:

Umm, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that a one club ticket wasn't valid at the Adventurer's Club :confused3

That is correct.

The Single club tickets are only good for the DANCE clubs

To go into either Comedy Warehouse or Adventures Club you must have the multi-club ticket, PI annual pass, PAP, or Water Park FUN and more pack.

We just returned from two weeks at WDW, and made our first visit to the Adventurer's Club. There were 3 adults, 14yo, 13yo, 10yo, and 9yo. We went from 7-9, and there was no admission!! We all had a great time - the kid's loved it, very funny entertainment. After 9 p.m. we would have been charged - I don't think I would pay $88 for my three children and me, but it was definitely worth the price of a couple of adult drinks for me and soft drinks for the kids!!

Adventures Club is free from 7pm to 9pm as long as they don't have a special event.
