Pleasure Island ????s

I have never 'done' Pleasure island yet and I am thinking of a visit this September. I dont want to look out of place, so what kind of clothes do you wear there ?

I don't think you have to worry about looking out of place. Most of the time I just wear whatever I wore to the parks, but I have also worn a sun dress, or jeans and a sexy top. You'll see people wearing everything from shorts, t-shirts, and baseball caps, to "club clothes." I've seen a lot of guys in docker type pants and polo shirts. Lots of girls in casual dresses. I guess the only thing you might be out of place in is if you wore black tie attire

PI's an absolute blast. You never know what you'll see, either... once, it was Men At Work (yes, that Men At Work), at the outdoor stage, another time it was Arturo Sandoval (Jazz trumpet great) in the Jazz Club. Wear whatever you want- always fun.

i've worn shorts and tee-shirts with sneakers, capris and a nice top, casual dresses, and "club clothes." not all together, of course.

i've never felt out of place.

Wear anything, just get in there!

During our visit last September, we went eight nights in a row. I wore, in no particular order: Blue jean shorts and a white T with an American flag; both black and beige docker-style pants with collered shirts; chinos with a polynesian shirt; it really, really doesn't matter. The only people that got looked at sideways were either dressed WAY down (ripped jeans, dirty tee's) or to the teeth (tuxedos). Either way, they did get looked at sideways, but that was it.

I think "average" wear would be docker-style shorts and a decent casual shirt.

Thursday nights you will see more people dressed "clubby" since that is CM night.
