Pleasure Island Question

Just wanted to know if you need a special pass to get into pleasure island if you go during the day?

I could be wrong but I don't think Pleasure Island is open until 7pm. Downtown Disney is open and depending on what you want to do, you may just be able to go. I know you need a wristband at night for Pleasure Island.

We havent been to PI in a while, and I couldnt remember if you only needed the additional pass at night.

PI does not open until 7 p.m. that I am aware. I don't know if that is 7 days a week, or just certain nights.
Until 9:00 p.m. much is free.
We have PAPs, which allow us inside. But when we have friends visit, we just go to the Adventurer's Club for the first two skits. And that is usually enough anyway.
After the second skit, we are steered out a door leading to the outside, rather than circling around into AC.
I don't know if Comedy Warehouse is free until 9:00. No matter what show, I have always seen tickets/passes required to get a wristband.

The actual clubs are the only part of PI that is closed during the day. You are free to walk through the island all day, and shop in the shops, too.

After 7pm, the clubs open, but you can still go onto the island without a pass; you just can't get into any of the clubs without a pass. This is called "Pleasure Island Ungated" and began late last year as a way to compete with Universal's CityWalk, which has a similar ungated admission policy.

Currently, Pleasure Island is closed during the day, and does not open until 7:00pm. It is actually chained off.

After 7:00pm, you are free to walk through Pleasure Island - You only need the tickets to get into the clubs, which may be on your park tickets ( MYW MPP, PHP, Ect ) or you can purchase tickets ( $22.32 for multi club, or $10.60 for single club - which excludes the "show" clubs - Comedy Warehouse and Adv. Club. )
