Pleasure Island..need answer to a question

I wasn't sure where to post this and hope you can help. My husband and I are going for our first adults only trip in Oct. I can't figure out how Pleasure Island works as far as the admission cost. Some places it referrs to tickets and others it says it is now open. Help. Are the tickets only for the dance clubs? We want to go to the Adventurers Club and maybe the comedy club. No other places appeal to us. Do I need to purchase tickets with this option or not??????

I remember back in the early days of the island you could buy admission to one, three, or six clubs. But yes, not it's one price to get you in the gate, and that gets you in to all of the clubs.

Adventurer's Club is my favorite.

When you read that Pleasure Island was now "open" they were refering to the main walk way out side. You used to have to have a ticket for PI to enter at the front gate. Now you can now see the street preformers, west end stage, and fire works show with out a ticket, as long as you don't enter a club.

Since you plain on entering The Adventurers Club and/or the Comedy Club you will need a full price ticket. They were $23

If you were just planning to enter one club (BUT NOT ADVENTURES OR COMEDY CLUBS they are excluded grrr...) you could buy a Single club ticket and choose from Mannequins, Motion, or 8TRAX. They were $11

They almost allways run a special if you are planning to go more than one night called CARPE PM or 5 FOR 5 that give you 5 admissions total for just $5 more than the full price ticket.

If you have a long stay or are going to come back to Disney again the PI annual pass is really cheap at $56 for 1 person or $106 for the 1 plus guest pass.

If you have Magic your way tickets you can get a plus pack and use a plus for your PI admission.

Just figure out which way is best for you!

If you plan on entering any clubs, you buy an admission ticket at the ticket booths (if you don't already have one as part of your pass). When you enter the first club you go into, you have your ticket swiped and they give you a wristband. The wristband shows (1) that you've paid admission and (2) that you're old enough to drink. Designated drivers and underage visitors get either a different color wristband or a handstamp.

After you get your wristband, if you want to go to another club, walk out of the one you started in and just show your wristband when you walk into another. For the admission price you can visit any of the PI clubs, unless you've bought one of those one-club-only tickets (I've never bought one so dont' know how those work).

If the Adventurers Club doesn't open late, they often have some free time between 7 and 9 PM. This gets you into a couple of library shows to check things out. At 9 PM everyone without proof of admission payment (the proper wristband or handstamp) is asked to leave and purchase admission if they'd like to stay longer.

If you subscribe to the mousesavers newsletter they deal with a company called ticketmania that gives mousesavers special deals. They are offering a pleasure island pass for @ $14 if you buy it ahead of time. It is a great place to get tickets (through the sale) I purchased a 10day with
no expir/hopping/waterparks, etc. for $358. There special for a 10 day was cheaper than an 8 or 9 day ticket.

I went two years ago with my boyfriend to Pleasure Island and when we went we just used our tickets and we were able to go in to all of the places. We are going back again in February for my b-day and we plan on going there again and the Adventurer's club is a great place to go
