I've had reservations for 6 on 11/28 for Liberty Tree Tavern since 180 days out. My 2 SILs have decided to join us on our trip and I have been trying for at least 2 weeks to add them to our reservation. I called today and the CM suggested I switch to the Diamond Horseshoe because they were open for special dates and it had the same menu as LTT. I don't see it listed anywhere as being open and it says when it is it's only open until 3 pm but I have a ressie for 4:25. Did I mess up?

During busy times like Thanksgiving weekend, the Diamond Horseshoe opens for dinner, but serves the same family style dinner as Liberty Tree Tavern next door.

Thank you! That's what the agent told me, but when I tried to search for it, it always comes up with it being open in 2012 at Thanksgiving. I did go in and look at the restaurant, and when I put in certain dates, it would show 3 - 8 pm or 4 - 9 pm but more often nothing at all. I'm pretty excited! We went there back in 1972 and have never been again as most of the time it is closed. My DIL really wanted to eat at LTT, but it was more for the food than the restaurant itself. This will be a different experience.

I wasn't aware they did this! Is it a QS or TS credit? We may go for dinner on the 29th.

I found a blog about it on one of the Disney websites and this person took lots of pictures. According to the WDW site they say it's a lunch but on the 28th and 29th it shows a dinner like at LTT. I'd say it is definitely TS.

Thanks! Darn....that would be a steal if it was QS. You are right though, probably TS.
