Pleased about annual passs blackout dates

I don't read the crowd levels the same way you do, not at all. People simply don't like to wake up early on vacation, and don't understand how much you can get done in those early hours. Let's LET THEM continue to do that! :) It allows the early risers to have that quiet time.

I'd agree with both this and the OP. I live in the SF Bay (~6 hours drive from DLR so not local but semi-local maybe?) and my whole family has Premium APs. We do a lot of weekend trips and never hit the park before 1-2 PM because we're just not "morning people." :) We normally close out the park though and find the crowds for rides pretty thin once the fireworks, F!, and WOC roll around. The primary value of the Premium AP for us is that there's zero pressure time-wise, we can dilly dally all we want (which usually happens to be later in the day) because we know we can come back any time. Even with the price increase it's still a great deal for anyone semi-local, the extra $150 isn't even enough to buy a 2-day 1-park pass at current prices.
