Ok, so we fly out Sunday @ 5:35am. We are flying with Delta and connect in ATL. I know I can check-in on Saturday, but what time? Also, do I need to check in with each flight? Or with me checking in for the initial flight, is that it?

Since we are not checking baggage, where do I go when I get to the airport? Do I go right through security?

Thanks in advance for helping me out!

You will have to check the Delta site to see when you can check in but it is usually 24 hours before the flight. If it isn't a non stop it will print the boarding passes needed for the legs of our flight.

Then when you get to the airport you can bypass security. Delta should have instructions on the website how to do online check in.

On delta you can online check-in 24 hours before your flight. You can choose your seats (if you haven't yet), print your boarding passes (to ATL and your connection to MCO) and once at the airport just continue to security since you are not checking bags. We online check-in all the time, even with bags, then just drop the bags off at skycab (roadside checkin). Hope this helps.

Thanks so much again!

So in the same sitting (aka Sat morning) I can check in for BOTH flights?

As you can see, this is the first time where I have done my own travel. Any other time I have flown has been on business, or when I was a little girl. Just trying to be prepared! Also, I am hoping it isn't the feeding frenzy that I have read happens with SW!

I just got done online checking for a trip to SLC for business and I checked in for both my flight to CVG and my connection to SLC, once it finds my e-ticket it lets me choose/change my seats on the plane if I wish for either flight, and then I printed my boarding passes and off to the airport at 7pm tonight for my 9pm flight I go

SW feeding frenzy :rotfl:

This is one of the reasons that I actually fly delta quite often. Once you have your seat assigned, it is your seat. You don't have to get on the plane ASAP to get a good seat. You know where you are sitting before you get on and then the plane either boards front to back or the opposite. Your boarding zone will be on your ticket.

Thank you all! I feel a LOT more relaxed now about this! I will be up tomorrow AM early anyways, so hopefully DH and I will get the seats we want. I did all my research on seatguru and now I know where to sit!

Thanks again, and here is to many more positive online-checkins :) :cool1:
