Please Walk Grandma Thru the Jedi Training Details

First time taking 5-y.o. GD without her parents (who handled the whole Jedi thing in the past, we just showed up at designated time lol).

She wants to do it next Monday. Park opens @ 9am. Have dinner res @ TRex @ 7 pm, would prefer a slot no earlier than 11 am/noon (by which point the others in party should've made their way to the park to observe). Any later, I figure she will melt in the robe.

Have a couple questions, if I'm leaving out anything please let me know

1). What time should we arrive @ the park gates?

2). Should we be lined up in special area?

3). Do we sign up at the gate or are we directed somewhere else inside?

4). What time do we need to arrive for the actual show/our time slot?

5). Only have one checked bag this trip, should I make room for one of her light sabers?

6). Will have photo pass, are any pictures loaded?

7}. Lastly, trying to remember how long the show is...thinking 20 minutes or less, going from memory.

1. 8:15 am, to be close to the front of the JTA line at the gate.

2. Yes, ask at CM at the gate where to line up for JTA.

3. No, not at the gate. Once they allow you into the park, you will make your way down Hollywood Blvd., turn left after Mickey's of Hollywood, go past H&V and 50's Prime Time Cafe to the check in point (which is to the left past those restaurants).

4. They ask you to be there 30 minutes before your show.

5. No, they will provide and you must use their lightsaber for the show.

6. You'll get lots of photos uploaded.

7. It's about 25 minutes.

Ok, driving up from ASMu, would think traffic would be light and parking 'easy'...will plan on leaving the hotel @ 7:45 pm.

Are you going to be the only adult with your granddaughter? I ask because she will need to have an adult with her when she checks in and that person will need to stay with her during the "getting ready" part. If you are the only adult, by the time you get her assembled and ready for her entrance, the area in front of the stage will have people in there to watch the show. You can politely ask to move in front of others so you can be closer to the stage. If you have a second adult, just have one stay with her for all the "getting ready" part and have the second one go over to the stage area to get a spot. When our grandson did this, none of us had a clue so my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter were all with the grandson in the "getting ready" part. We were able to text and get our granddaughter out of there and then the three of us had a spot while my son and daughter-in-law took care of the grandson and then joined us after that.
