Since MK is your most visited park and your family isn't as into the pool I voted the Polynesian (unless you want to consider splitting your stay). We used to always split between BC and a MK resort - now we pretty much hang out in the Epcot area since it's our favorite. Heading back to your hotel will be easier from the MK to just jump on the monorail to the Polynesian and it's easier to be more spontaneous getting there and back. We love the walkway along the beach to the Wedding Pavilion and GF also. Monorail riding and visits to the other monorail hotels was always a favorite of ours. Also all of the GF kids activities (Pirate, Grand Adventures, etc) are near by.
ahhh...don't know which to vote on. I'd say either the Poly or BWI. I've stayed at the Poly and love it like lots of people do but would love to try out the BWI since I've heard such great things about it. But then love Y&B too..... Very tough choice....hmmm. Sorry, guess I'm not much help
But, at the Poly you can watch Wishes and the EWP from the beach!! I know it's not the same nightlife as what the BW offers but it's pretty spectacular!
I love the poly and also the Beach club just for the atmosphere I'll finally get to stay at Beach club may 7th thru the 11th this year cant wait to try the pool but with little ones at mk right on the monrail line and ttc so close to the poly would probably stay there
Erika were you the family on the travel channel show that did the allstars and wishes cruise you look familiar ????
With the option of taking the bus, boat or monorail I would choose the Poly with little ones. My family and I were there last August and we loved it. It will be difficult to go to another resort but my goal is to try as many of them as possible.
Okay Erika...after thinking some more about it I'm voting for the Poly. Since you've been to both of my first choices (Poly or BWI) and said the kids aren't quite as much into the pool my thinking is the monorail is there and O'hana And quick ride to MK. Yeah, BW will be a little of trek to go over to at night but you probably wouldn't do that EVERY night so I say go for it at the Poly. Plus they do have a nice pool for when you do go swimming even though it wouldn't be your main concern
But since you didn't put that in, we're also stuck between the romance of the Poly and the pools of the Beach Club. We did a Christmas at the Beach Club and so I have very strong memories there, but nothing beats a walk around the grounds at night with the torch-light and watching Wishes! I also get super-spoiled by the monorail line. Knowing your love for MK -- do da Poly!
I voted for the YC/BC/BWI area. We are DVC members and stay at the BWV and love the area. The Beach Club has an awsome pool and you can walk to Epcot or even Disney Studios.
