A local web site is running a Daddy & Me photo contest for Father's Day and I entered my hubby and 10 week old daughter's picture and they made the cut. Please check out their photo at:

I tried to check it out, but it won't come up for me. However, I did see that the title is "Aspen with Daddy". Is that your dd's name? That is my dd's name and i thought she was one of the only ones with that name. She is 9 now.

Sorry you are having troubles but thanks for trying! Yes, our daughter's name is Aspen and we chose it so she wouldn't share it with too many others when she starts school.

Since the person running the poll wasn't able to limit it to one vote per person, the final tally is based 1/2 on total votes and 1/2 on the number of different IP address that visit the photo.

What browser are you using? I'm having no trouble with Mozilla Firefox. If you've got 2 different browsers, perhaps you could try changing to see if that works.

Once in awhile I have to use IE to access a certain page.

Thanks again to all! DH finally saw that I had entered them and asked why I did submit a better photo. I told him because that's my favorite of the two of them...so far!

OK was finally able to get through to vote. She is beautiful, just like my Aspen. But as far as the he/she thing get used to it. Everytime I call somewhere and tell her name, they call her a he. I think they must confuse it with the name Austin. That is all I can think of to justify it. No way is Aspen a boy's name.

Thanks for the warning! We have had some people spell her name Asten when we are trying to spell it over the phone (even when we say P as in Paul)and then they think she is a boy. DH says we'll just have to dress her in pink ruffly dresses but I'm not the ruffly type.

Looks like Conner and Daddy are giving us a run for the money.
