Please tell me your BCV Wait List Success Stories!

We own at BCV, and had two weeks in a one bedroom booked at 11 months out for a trip starting May 29. Well, my stepson and his family agreed to join us, and my brothers family agreed to the next week. This happened in mid-February. Of course, no 2 bedrooms were available by then, so we gave up our BCV room and booked at OKW, going on the waitlist. The waitlist came through for the second week in a 2 BR at BWV within a couple of weeks, but still no luck at BCV!

So now we are staying at OKW and BWV, and I can't believe we won't see our BCV home this trip!

I also had a week in a studio for August booked back when. I'm having to change the trip by a few days, so as of this week we are waitlisted for the two days we need the week before.

I have always had luck getting what I wanted through the waitlist. Are those days really over?

For what it's worth: In February, I booked a 1br at VWL for the last week in May (home resort), but wanted to waitlist for BCV. I received a confirmation for the BCV without ever receiving one for the VWL. So I guess I had lots of pixie dust come my way! Good luck!

FWIW, your waitlist will expire 30-31 days out from your arrival date unless you ask them to keep you on the waitlist until 7 days prior. You still have a chance for it to come through as people cancel right before their 31 days. However, if it isn't available by then, I doubt if you will get it especially since that is Memorial Day weekend. Of course, one can always hope right up to the last minute. I'll be hoping that pixie dust comes your way!

I had three waitlists come through for me at BCV for early May. Two of them came right at the 31 day mark when others had to cancel or be penalized.

I'd keep hoping... you never know what will happen.
