Need something that is not a rat motel, and is very close to the walk way in to Disneyland. Torn between a view suite at the Carousel, an even larger room at the Desert Inn and Suites, Best Western Park Place Inn, or cramming 5 people in to a room at the Paradise PIer. Will have elderly and children and looking for ease in and out of the parks and short walking time. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! Thanks!

I have never stayed there, but from your description I would think that Best Western PPI is your place. It is just as close if not the closest to ANY park not having Grand in its name to Disneyland.

I have heard good things from people who have stayed there recently. Hope that helps.

It is located right at the crosswalk to the park.

I prefer the Hampton inn in Garden Grove, it is clean and from my experience you can negotiate a good price with the manager. They have suites and breakfast is included. It isn't fancy but, not pastries and coffee either. It is cereal, oatmeal, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, frozen waffles, juice, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, tea. I hear they are in the process of adding some hot food as well. It looks far on a map but, they have a shuttle that runs from the front of the hotel every half an hour all day long. (To and from the park) You are the first ones on and the first ones off the shuttle so you always get a seat. It is clean and they have a 100% gaurentee, that can't be matched if you complain about anything and tell them about the 100% your night is free. We had a night free for no hot water in the evening one night, we weren't affected because we shower in the morning but, everyone there got the night free. It isn't a fancy hotel but, very clean and has a decent pool. The suites have a fully furnished mini kitchen with 2 burners, microwave, toaster and apartment size refridge (bigger then the small ones but, not as big as home, holds quite a bit actually) so you can cook in the room. Hope this helps.

Good Luck
