Please tell me I am not the only one

The last couple of days have been terrible on VMK. I can't click on some of the NPCs or some of my teleporters. Playing ghost is getting almost impossible with the lag. My computer is very new and was pretty fast so I don't understand what the problem is. I am really hoping that it is not just me.

Is anyone else having simular problems I would like to here. You know misery loves company!

Sorry you are having problems. I have been there so many times I lost count.

Here is what I have learned. If there are three lap tops connecting to the internet and 3 playing different games on line it is near impossible to do anything in VMK. When my DH is playing popo bowling the lag in VMK because unbearable. Also when my son has his 360 loggin on line that drains it so bad that we have told him there are only certain times he can play it. So we all can at least get on line. And then it could also be my crappy cable provider. Which I would say is at least 50% of my problem.

Have you cleaned out your files lately that can slow it down really bad. It will take longer to log on after that but you will be able to move better in VMK.

Also there is a thread about unistalling Shockwave and reinstalling it. May be some one could post a link.

Thanks for responding! Yes I have cleaned out my files and this computer is the only one that has been on. We have been used to playing this way on old computer never getting to play the games and such, but this one has been running like a gem till now. I will try uninstalling shockwave and see where that gets me, thanks.

I think I have discovered most of the problem. Believe it or not but the speed of my mouse was set way to high, when I set it to slow I was then able to click on things that would not let me before. Also I was able to play ghosts again just about back at nomal speed.

Go figure!
