JIKO. It's quiet, a little dark, excellent food, not a child's place to eat really. They have hundreds of African wines and that is the draw there--to have some great wine along with great food. The appetizers are all killer--I've never been disappointed in them--I would suggest the flatbreads. I've had several different entrees but my favorite is the filet over mac n cheese. The worst I've had here was the monkfish--just too boring for me.
Yachtsman Steakhouse. It's more adult oriented also but there are more kids in here than at JIKO. Good steaks. I've had better steaks but overall, it's pretty good. I usually have a NY, I like them very rare and they do a good job of making it very rare for me. For an appetizer, I usually have salad.
Chefs de France. Not one of my favorites--it used to be a lot better than it is now so we skip this one and go instead to Bistro de Paris upstairs from Chefs, which is a definite adult experience, higher priced, etc. Chefs is crowded and noisy, the food is now bland to me (compared to how it used to be). I do like the creme brulee for dessert and I do enjoy the goat cheese torte they have as an appetizer. None of the entrees were worth remembering. I know I've done the roasted chicken and the pork before and did not enjoy them at all.
