Please tell me about your re-hitching ice cream social experience!!!!

I keep reading little things about the ice cream social/rehitching ceremoney, but no details. People write, "I went only a few characters showed, it was okay", but no details. Some have written, " it was fun, or really neat to see." Still no details. I really think this sounds cute and would love a full report!!! I even went to allearsnet.com to read what happen pretty much the same thing. The "author" even wrote that they didn't want to give me too many details and see it for myself!!!!

Who does the ceremony? Mickey?

Is this an outside/inside event?

Do you get some kind of certificate?

Someone there to take pictures?

DETAILS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
My parents had this done last week for their 20th anniversary. Mickey does not perform the ceremony, although Mickey is close by. One of the waiters made an announcement saying that my parents were celebrating their anniversary with the restaurant today and had them stand up. She then proceeded to say that since everyone at the restaurant was not invited to the wedding, we were going to have a re-hitching ceremony. She then had my parents kiss while counting to one hundred. (Up to ten by ones, and one hundred by tens). I held the video camera, and it was a nice event to watch. The other characters at the social came around and it was enjoyable.

"Last year DW and I went to Garden Grill without any knowledge of the rehitching ceremony (at least I didn't know about it, I can't speak for DW) , but luckily we had asked the CM that took our PS's to note that it was our anniversary. After we had finished eating (and it was all you can eat, so of course I hadn't saved any room) four CM's came up to our table with the rehitching certificate and a cake. The ceremony proceded as Eeyore noted below and it was a blast. The Garden Grill is a great location for rehitching because it is one of the smaller restaurants and it is curved, so the ceremony is pretty intimate. The CM's were great and one even picked up our camera and took a couple pictures for us."

When we did our waiter was our "minister" who performed the ceremony. Mickey gave the bride (me) away. Our two DDs were handled bouquets made out of the brown paper towels that are on the table.

Basically we were asked if we "do" and then made to kiss to 100. Started out 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-20-30-40- and so on till he reached 100. We also got a great certificate. I have it framed (frame from mousegears at Epcot) and sitting on my computer desk.

it was a LOT of fun. Another server came and took pics for us using our digital camera.
 

I'm sorry to say that when we did it last year for our 20th anniversary our server just handed us a certificate and that was it! I was disappointed because I'd read such great stories about it.
