Please, tell me about these shared balconies at GF

I am very curious about the balconies at the GF.
I understand that if I stay at a dormerroom I cannot sit with 2 persons on the balcony and in a standard room I have to share it.
Is that true?
And how inconvenient is that?
With how many neighbours I have to share it?
It doesn't sound really deluxe to me :)

Excuse me, I think I have made a mistake.
I have read somewhere that the balconies at the GF aren't private and I understood that when I leave my balconydoor open my neighbour is able to walk into my room.
Thinking about that, that doesn't make any sense. :)
So maybe I had a languageproblem here, sorry.

We stayed at the GF for the 1st time last November and had a dormer room for part of our stay and a regular room for the last night of our stay. The dormer room balcony was small but had 2 chairs. We had a lagoon view room, so you pretty much had to stand up if you wanted to see anything as the dormer room balconies have a solid barrier (wall). The balconies in the non-dormer rooms are private. There is a barrier between your balcony and the next balcony over. It is much larger than the dormer balcony and has railing as opposed to being solid. I personally preferred the dormer room, because the ceilings are vaulted and it felt larger.
We liked it so much we're going back this November and I can hardly wait!
Hope this helps!

You figured out the answer, however, I will still post a link to a photo of a GF balcony so that you understand what the "privacy" divider looks like: click here. If someone is small (for example, a child), they can probably squeeze underneath the privacy divider, but try not to let that worry you too much (I have stayed at the resort many times and have never had anyone squeeze under the divider to my balcony).

The GF is a lovely resort. I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

I hope both of the photos that I posted links to help show you what to expect as far as balconies go at the GF. Again, have a lovely holiday.

Thank you very much for these wonderfull pictures Janet.
Ofcourse I have seen them all and now I really want to go to GF :)
You had a lagoonview I presume, but is that really a standard room? It looks huge!
