Please tell me about the Sheraton Vistana Resort in LBV

We're debating between staying there for half our trip or staying on property. We're staying a total of 10 nights, with 5 in a BWV studio. Dh thinks we'll really like the extra room, but I'm concerned that I'll miss staying on property. What can you tell me about it?

I have stayed at Vistana Resort several times and Vistana villages twice. I love them both. The units are great and the grounds are beautiful. The only thing you really need is a car while there to get around. We find the LBV area very safe and love the shopping. The Buena Vista outlets is great and there is a new SuperTarget about 7-8 minutes away. Request diamond lane checkin and a unit either in Lakes or Cascades and you will love it. I have stayed in the older sections and really liked them but others on this board found them too old and in need of renovations. I'm sure you will hear from there shortly. Of all the offsite properties I personally think you have picked one of the best!

I like it. we got one of the older sections. Springs - but we loved it.

It is about 5 minutes further away than OKW, PO resorts. So yes it is very close to WDW - especially Epcot. getting there is very, very easy.

getting back can be a problem - remember to look for DD.

It is about 2 miles from DD.
