Please tell me about the Sheratan Vistana Resort!!!!

My friends have just decided to stay here and she is looking for opinions. Anyone care tos hare their experiences? Thanks!

There are two Vistana's which one are you staying at?

We stayed at the Vistana Resort for the first time this past October...We LOVED it! We won our week through Skyauction.

I registered for Diamond Lane and requested a Fountains room, top floor with a water view...when we checked in the regular line was probably 20 people deep..we walked right up to the Diamond Lane check-in and waited for 1 person in front of us.

We received a 2 br unit in the Fountains 1 section, top floor with a view of the pool...IT was wonderful....

There are several pools scattered around the complex. We didn's use them all, but tried out 2 of them.

The unit itself was really nice....the only bad thing was that the roof leaked into the master bathroom during the hurricane...but, no big deal.

Not sure what kind of deal or where they booked through, but when we checked in they directed us to the "welcome center"....we skipped it knowing that they would try to make us do the sales presentation. We also received several phone calls trying to get us to attend the presentation. I guess you cuold say they were pretty hard sell even on the phone as after I told her "no", she asked to talk to my 7 year old....that being said, several people here on the DIS have reported that they just unplugged the phone or not answered it.
