Stitch is DH's favorite, and we're going for both of our birthdays! What characters appear? How is the food? What is the "tempo" of the meal? Some of our last character meals felt very rushed. And lastly, how do we get to the Poly from POFQ at an early hour? TIA!

We did this character breakfast in June. It was just me and DD6 and she loved it! I liked it too.

The room is quite large and the characters (Mickey, Lilo, Stitch and Pluto) must have just left our area so there was a long wait until they came back around to us.

Our personal experience lately has been that most character meals are pretty rushed. In general it's pose for picture, sign autograph, move on. My DD is fine with that. There have been exceptions though and our experience at 'Ohana was one of them. It was DD's birthday and both Lilo and Stitch pretended to try to steal her birthday cupcake and Pluto had her sit in a chair so he could lay down on her lap (like a puppy). Pretty funny since Pluto is about 6 feet + tall. :)

Food was typical breakfast fare with great juice and bread. We would definitely go back! :)

The breakfast was served family style on a big platter. We had eggs, bacon, fruit, mickey waffles, potatoes, etc. It was decent food.

The characters were a riot, Stitch is priceless. They do a parade around the room and it was alot of fun.

DH and I went in August, first seated at 7:30 am. The food was awesome and yes the characters are really rushed. They wave, shake hands, hugs and take pics and then gone to the next table. There were some families that tried to get the characters to hang around longer but the handlers were quick to move them along.

We saw Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto

We are going back in 3 weeks with our Stichloving niece who is 6.

We were there last April and it was wonderful. I made an ADR for when we go in March. We will be going on the DS (twins) 5th birthday. The only character I thought rushed passed us was Mickey. Other wise we got a lot of pics and Stitch was throwing food at me! THe DS's thought it was great. They still talk about it!

It is a must do for us! We were there in Jan. 2008 and had another wonderful breakfast. The food and service have always been excellent. We have never felt rushed. Character interaction is awesome. Stitch and Pluto have always spent lots of time with our DS. I think you and your DH will enjoy this meal. It is also a nice resort to walk around. After breakfast you can take a boat or the monarail to the MK. We always stay at the WL so I can't help you on how to get there. My guess would be to take a bus to TTC then walk to the Poly or take a bus to the MK then hop on the monarail or take the boat to the Poly.

Food is good the juice is awesome. Let me tell I have never seen a Character whip the room in such a frenzy as Stitch did the kids went nuts. It was a blast. I also felt the Character handlers were really good.

This is our favorite Character Meal--we prefer the Family Style
over the Buffets. My DH ask for this meal every trip and we've
been there 3 years in a row. I love the atmosphere alot.

The characters have never been rushed whenever we've gone
but they can't spend long amounts of time at each table--
you get them to sign your autograph book, say a couple of things
and take a picture--that is the pace of all character meals.

The Characters are Lilo (my favorite) Stitch (fun) Mickey and
Pluto (he was so cute last time because he was crawling around
on the floor playing Peek a boo with a Baby (about 1 years old)
he kept making that baby laugh.

The food is typical breakfast food and it has always been good.
I love the Juice they serve and it seems like the coffee was
a much better quality than the stuff you get in the Resort food Courts.

It is also very easy to get to the Paly from POFQ-simply take a bus
to the MK then either take the monorail or boat to the POLY resort.
Then Ohanas is on the second floor. We always give ourselves pleanty
of time after eatting to tour the POLY lobby, shops and grounds.
