Please tell me about the Contemporary Concierge.........

Hi!
I have a good friend going to "Our World" for July 4th, and I have them wanting to stay at a Deluxe. They are trying to decide whether or not to go Grand Floridian Lagoon View or Contemporary Magic Kingdom View Concierge. With 2 boys I am leaning towards the Contemporary since they will be able to get all kinds of Beverages and have the Breakfast Foods and Snacks for when they come back to freshen up. We have only stayed at the Poly and GF Concierge so I don't know much about the Contempories concierge. Could anyone who has stayed there PLEASE give us a good HONEST opinion about them. Also, if they end up on the 12th floor, is it a pain in the rear to go up to the 14th floor after 4 p.m. for the evening offerings?

As far as I know full concierge is only on the 14th floor. I have not stayed full concierge , however I stayed tower club on the 12th floor and I can honestly tell you , I did not miss the evening offerings.
In the morning we had breakfast served in the lounge from 7-10 am and they had pastries, cereal, bagels, coffee, juices , fruit and I forgot what else ( it was almost two years ago ). In the afternoon I believe it was from 2-4 pm and it was basically the same with a couple variations and more fruit selection.
We really didn't care if we didn't get anything at night because we were never there , however we did take some snacks back to the room and beverages so we could have them when we returned from the parks.
We had a MK view room , the fridge was a big plus , and we also got extra bottles of water that we requested.

HI! We stayed on the 12th floor (limited Concierge)of the Contempo several years ago. Unless things have changed, here are a few things to keep in mind: there is NO guarantee your friends will get a Magic Kingdom view room, and there is NO access, from the 12th floor, to the full service concierge on the 14th floor - you must book and pay ($$$$$) for the 14th floor if you want full concierge at the Contempo. That being said, we would never pay the extra money for the 12th floor again - it is so easy, from a ContempoTower room, to take the elevator down to the food center to get snacks!

My daughter and I stayed at the CR on the 12th floor (Tower Club) and had a wonderful time. The concierge staff on that floor was just great, especially a man by the name of "Bill." Thanks for the good photo site. We just booked the Presidential Suite over Christmas, and I was hoping to get more info about the Concierge at the Contemporary too. Any info on the suites or the concierge would be much appreciated. Looks like we will have a great view from our room.

a couple of years ago ourselves and I thought it was well worth the extra $55 per night (we were staying in the tower anyway) We were fortunate enough to get a mk view and we were very close to the conceirge section. I really miss staying there it was a lot of fun!

We really only used it for breakfast and hardly ever used the snacks in the afternoon (we were too busy) We stayed at the Dolphin the next year (concierge) and found ourselves not using the evening offerings so I don't feel we missed out on anything on the 14th floor at the Contemporary.

Your friends are going to have a WONDERFUL stay!
