Don't worry about the busses. If people are complaining about crowded busses at one resort they are also complaining about crowded busses at other resorts. This is mainly due to the time of year that people attend disney, not the resort.

Port Orleans is very nice.

If you are a family with more than 4 people you will want to try a value suite at the moderate rooms are not very big. Deluxe rooms are somewhat larger but you will be cramped with more than 4 people.

The room difference from a one bedroom villa and a moderate room can be emphasized by taking away the kitchen and living room from the villa and reducing the bedroom area by 15-20 square feet.
