in OKW. The menu sounds delicious. I don't hear too much about this restaurant and I'm interested to hear some reviews.

Thanks!

We really enjoyed Olivia's on our last trip to WDW...we even ate there a 2nd night we liked it so much. You will get a lot of mixed reviews on this one, but I guess that is true for any place.

Enjoy your trip! :sunny:

We have eaten at Olivia's twice over the last couple of years. Both times were for lunch after just arriving at the World and staying at OKW. We have had good service and food both times. I have noticed some Disney employees eating here so maybe that says something. They have nice sandwiches and salads at lunch, but save some room for dessert! Sept 2004 we ordered 2 desserts to share and were they yummy. We had the hot fudge brownie sundae and a hot apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. So good we went back later in the week and got it for take-out.

We tried Olivia's for the first time this past October. DH & I were very pleased with the food and service. Olivia's is not a quite/dark/romantic sort of place, it is a very pleasantly decorated (lots of stuff on the walls to look at), friendly sort of restaurant. We would definately go back.

Thanks for your replies. We stayed at OKW about 10 yrs. ago but never ate there. Don't know why either?

I think we'll be checking this restaurant out in Sept.

We love Olivia's. It is a must do for us on every trip. If you like wings, try the wing appetizer. It is awesome-best wings ever! :thumbsup2

Funny that you asked today, ABK96. I did a search of this forum about 2 hours ago on Olivia's for the same reason. There were lots of good reviews. I thought it sounded great also and put it on our 'list'. Thanks for asking.

Our whole family enjoyed Olivia's, and as Bird-Mom mentioned the wings were excellent. I liked the fact that it was not real crowded, and we could have a nice relaxing meal after a busy day in the parks.

Olivia's is very relaxing and they have great service and food.

Olivias is very good as the food of the "world" goes. The wings and the Key West ale are my thing. Breakfast is great as well. Now if SSR and its new resaturant are as good as Olivias I'll be a happy DVC'er. :thumbsup2

We've been going to Olivia's since we became DVC members way back in 1991. For us it has been hit or miss over the years. Yes it is a relaxing meal and we've never needed a ressie. This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. That is if you have to take a bus, boat, plane, etc (just kidding, but you know what I mean!) it could take up a lot of vacation time. We always rent a car so we scoot over to a lot of the resorts for our favorites restaurants. The place holds a ton of memories for my family. I remember when my son was 3 we had breakfast with Winnie the Pooh (no they don't do it anymore) and had the place all to ourselves. My kids were in heaven. Pooh and Tigger spent the whole time with us!! I guess I just answered the question of why they stopped the character breakfast. My kids got too old. LOL!! Just kidding, it really was a great place to see the characters.

Have Fun!!
