Hi All!
We are attending MNSSHP on Oct. 16th. I have given up on a ps for LTT so I was considering O'hanas or the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare for dinner. We have been to 1900 before, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me about O'hanas. I know nothing about it. I got a PS for both, and now I have to decide which one to cancel. I got a PS at 1900 for 4:30 which is a great time for us and a 5:00 for O'hanas. How long does it take to go through a meal at O? Dinner will consist of myself, DS 10, DD7, and a DF(friend) 13.
Thank you!!!!!!!!

The food at Ohana is awesome. We were there the last week of April for the first time. We were seated quickly, within 5 minutes of our PS. I'm pretty sure our PS was for around 6pm. The appetizer tray they bring out is great, with wings and rice and wontons, salad etc. Then they start bringing out the meat on these 3 ft long skewers. There is Shrimp (with the shell on and a little spicy), pork tenderloin (the best I have ever had), beef, and chicken (both very good). The bring the skewer to your table and you tell them how much you want. Then there were a few games for the kids, we had 5 yo DS and 2 yo DS, so we let them play. It did not take any longer than any other buffet experience at DW. Hope this helps.

I would definitely go with the 'Ohanas PS. The service here tends to be very good, the theming is really neat, and the food is amazing. I can't tell you exactly how many wontons and shrimp I had when we went but I know they had to keep bringing more of each and did so cheerfully. The steak was moist and tasty, the shrimp were plump and delicious, the chicken was great if you are a fan of white meat, the pork was a touch dry on our night though still very good. The dessert here is skewered pineapple with a caramel dipping sauce. Very yummy.

'Ohana is great and your kids are the perfect age to enjoy the coconut races and hula hoop contest. DD10 is very shy jumped at the chance to participate in these events. And everybody gets gummi worms at the end of the race:D

We love 'Ohana's. The food is very good. Everyone from my then 4 DD to my picky 9DNi to my 60ish mother loved the food. DD ate at least a dozen shrimp. The games are great too. Even 13 DD got involved in the gamesand our waitress gave him a hard time (for using the broom end during the coconut race) the whole meal. By the end she made him a bet (that she was shorter than him, she had on heels and was infact a good bit shorter than him)and when he lost he had to hug her. It was great.

I'd made an 8:00 PS for the day of our arrival, but made great time and arrived at 6:30. I planned to stroll around the Poly until 8, but the hostess said she could work us in. Even though the place was packed, we waited maybe 20 minutes. Both food and service were outstanding; DD 8 and DS 4 had a blast in the coconut race and hula hoop contest. It was the perfect way to start our vacation - Disney magic via atmosphere and hospitality - and we plan to make that a tradition for future visits!

Thanks for all of the replies! I think we will go with O'hanas, it sounds great!

It's a very fun restaurant and the food is so yummy! I really liked the dumplings and the chicken wings appetizers :p My favourite skewers were the shrimp and steak... Try and save room for dessert! Some of them looked so amazing ... Just remember, that the place is busy so arrive a little early.

We also love the place and our kid's are about the same age as yours. They think the place is Great. The food is also really VERY good. I would sure try it.

Another 'Ohana fan here. We had a great time with our group of 7. The food was really good- we esp liked (LOVED) the wontons, and chicken wings and the shrimp, steak and turkey were great too. I could have licked my plate with that peanut sauce! Num! The atmosphere is really fun- our 5 year old loved the hula hoops and coconut racing. Both our kids were underwhelmed with the food selection, so our waiter rushed over some hot dogs and fries from Kona Cafe. Very nice! And I timed my PS with the fireworks at the MK, so we had a splendid view of the fireworks from our table. Pure magic. :)
