Please tell me about Heirloom Pro events

There's an Heirloom Pro event coming to my area in June, and a friend has asked me to go with her. Admission is $8/pp and we'll have to pay to park.

I am a big time newbie at this....only started scrapping in January. Is this show a good place for someone like me, or is it geared more toward experienced scrappers? I'd love to hear opinions from people who have attended one.
